The Wedding Weekend

Time of guest arrival: 6pm sharpe

End time: 9pm

Transport: We suggest getting a taxi to and from this venue as it is located in the heart of the city and therefore finding parking can be hard work and expensive. The venue will be able to call for taxi's at the end of the event, or maybe you'll want to wonder the beautiful streets of Florence and grab some more drinks at the many bars and restaurants nearby.

Time of guest arrival: 4.30pm 

(please leave plenty of time for Florence traffic as it can be a little hit and miss in the city area)

Carriages: Midnight - 2am (party finishes at 2am)

Location: Medici Villa of Lilliano Wine Estate - Via Lilliano e Meoli, 82, 50012 Grassina FI, Italy

Dress Code: Black Tie Wedding Attire - please keep in mind it will be very hot so dress accordingly and maybe wear some sunscreen. Ladies, the terrain will be a lot of uneven ground and so you might want to wear block heals or flats. We also have a cloakroom at the venue and so feel free to bring a change of shoes (or clothing of you're a sweaty betty). 

Transport: We will have taxis available from the venue from around midnight until 2.15am for our guests to jump in. These taxis will be at your own cost and you may have to wait until one becomes available in an onsite queuing system. You will however need to make your own way to the venue either by taxi (theres a lot of local taxi services available), or by car, where you can park at the side of the Villa by the wine shop. Taxi companies and contact details will be added soon to the website. 

We advise you having cash/euros at the ready for the taxi's. 

Dietary Requirements: If you have any special dietary requirements for the day, please be sure that Tom and Helen are aware as soon as possible, so that alternate arrangements can be made in good time.

On the Sunday we will be hosting a pool & Garden party for all of our wedding guests who can stick around to continue the party with us

Address: The villas are located 500 meters from the center of Villa Medicea di Lilliano Wine Estate (our wedding venue) in a typical Tuscan village environment. Via Lilliano e Meoli, 82 50012, Grassina.

Dress Code: Pool & Summer Garden Attire

We will be supplying prosseco, pizza and light refreshments for guests but ask that you please bring the following things:

- Pool Towels

- Sunscreen 

- Drinks for the day (beers, wine, spirits, mixers, ice, etc)

- Any change of clothes you might need

Additional Details:
We will be providing plastic cups, as glass is not allowed in the pool area.

If you are flying out on Sunday evening, feel free to bring your luggage and we can store it in the Villas. There’s parking on site for anyone driving but as always would suggest taxi’s so you can really enjoy yourself. It will be very hot in the afternoon and so please pack the appropriate items to stay cool and hydrated.
